I photographed Galveston Gal back in April of 2011 at Fort Worth. Very sad that she's gone, and that the pilot and passenger are gone as well.

had the good fortune to see her a couple of times at the Lone Star Flight Museum . I was actually in Galveston the day she went down ... very sad .
